Read on the Actors Pro Expo website.
In an industry full of passion, power imbalance, and smoke and mirrors, actors are too often left to navigate unsafe or exploitative situations without clear guidance. This seminar provides practical tools to recognise red flags, understand your rights as an actor, and stay grounded in the real working landscape of today’s acting industry.
You'll learn how to identify manipulation tactics, protect yourself professionally, and confidently vet opportunities, training providers, and individuals. This session empowers you not only to stay safe and informed, but to speak up, set boundaries, and advocate for yourself - without feeling that you have to tolerate mistreatment just to work.
